Deposit: One half of total amount placed on credit card at time of making reservation. Balance due during stay or upon departure. Guests may depart without "officially" checking out, if a valid credit card # has been given to innkeeper at time reservation was made.
Credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover, Diners Club.
Cancellation: Two weeks notice for full refund, less $15.00 processing fee ($25.00 processing fee on holidays, holiday weekends, leaf weekends and special events weekends; $10 processing fee per bedroom - not to exceed $50 - on groups of more than 2 bedrooms). One month notice for cancellation of groups of 4 bedrooms or more.
Less than two weeks cancellation notice, options of:
(a) forfeiture of deposit OR
(b) full amount of stay will be charged and used as a credit another time, may be based on availability, possibly weekdays only. Also, a re-booking fee of $25 will apply if cancellation is a group of more than 2 bedrooms. Usage must be used within one year.
On holidays, holiday weekends, holiday periods, leaf weekends, and music festival weekends - no options will be available. Full amount of stay will be charged and forfeited.
No show/no call results in full charge and forfeiture.
Gift Certificates are non refundable and full amount will be charged at time of purchase for gift certificates.
Re-scheduling of dates for using gift certificates will be allowed one time. After that, gift certificate will become invalid.
Accommodations will be held until 8:00 a.m. of the morning after the 1st night of reservation; after 8:00 a.m., any remaining nights of reservation may be re-rented without compensation to the original guests which made reservation.
As weather is unpredictable and out of our control, weather is not a valid reason for cancellation.
Check in time: 4:00 p.m. We do try to accommodate early arrivals, and attempt to have the accommodations ready as early as possible. Please inquire if you wish to arrive earlier than 4:00 p.m. and we will accommodate you, if possible depending on previous guests checking out and our cleaning schedule.
Check out time: 11:00 a.m. Guests staying beyond the 11:00 a.m. check out time may be subject to a late check out fee or another night's rental fee. If guests request a late check out prior to stay, we will try to accommodate request, if possible, depending on new guests checking in and our cleaning schedule.
IMPORTANT ! CHECK - IN INFORMATION:
After following directions to Sky Chalet Lane, just before the first and largest building , you will see a small outside wooden structure (not a building) with a hinged window. There will be an envelope with your name on it there. Inside the envelope will be information on how to get to your accommodation in the Treetop Lodge.
This insures that you will be able to check into your accommodation without delay, as sometimes the innkeepers are out doing one of the many errands that an inn and/or family requires.
If you arrive and there is no envelope there, this means either:
(a) It is too early, and the other guests are still occupying the accommodation OR
(b) The accommodation has not been cleaned yet and is therefore, not ready yet.
In either of these cases, please just check back a little later, as our staff needs more time to get your accommodations ready for you.
